Norg Starts Fitness Program for Menopausal Women

Beweegdorp Norg is launching a new three-month fitness program tailored specifically for women navigating menopause, dekrantnieuws.nl reported. The initiative kicks off with a free informational meeting scheduled for November 12 at De Brinkhof in Norg.

Fitness Schedule and Program Structure in Norg

The structured program runs for three months and requires participants to exercise together twice a week. Developed alongside local sports providers, the curriculum splits its focus between strength and conditioning exercises to build physical fitness and relaxation sessions designed to lower stress levels. Lifestyle coach and sports instructor René Kiel will oversee every session, establishing personalized goals for each participant while ensuring activities remain within individual physical limits.

Activities formally begin on November 23 and operate in four-week blocks, with scheduled breaks during the Christmas and spring holidays. The program concludes with a group lunch on March 6, 2026. The full participation fee is set at € 75.

Medical screenings are built directly into the onboarding process. During the introductory gathering on November 12 at 19.30 hours, general practitioner Irma Kremer will conduct a brief medical screening alongside a walking test. Organizers will repeat this walking test at the conclusion of the program to measure physical progress.

Alongside the physical workouts, the schedule includes four thematic seminars. These sessions cover hormonal changes, stress management techniques, healthy nutrition, and sleep hygiene.
