Analyst Sebastien Naji of william blair highlighted that the performance gains in Vera Rubin could reduce the number of GPUs required for model training by as much as 75% compared to Blackwell.
Autonomous Driving: A Key Growth area
Nvidia is increasingly focused on autonomous driving as a major growth driver, currently accounting for approximately 1% of its revenue but holding significant future potential. Introducing the Cosmos Family of Models
Nvidia introduced the Cosmos family of foundation models, designed to equip robots with a deeper understanding of the physical world.Cosmos can generate realistic videos from single images and predict the trajectories of objects, enabling robots to “understand” their habitat more effectively.
The company also unveiled the Isaac GR00T N1.6 model, which enhances whole-body control for humanoid robots, allowing them to perform complex tasks while maintaining balance. A new blackwell-powered robotics module was also announced,delivering a fourfold performance increase for industrial edge AI applications.
Advancements in Gaming Technology
While no new hardware was announced, Nvidia continues to push the boundaries of AI-driven gaming performance. DLSS 4.5 incorporates a “2nd Gen Super Resolution Transformer” for improved image stability. The RTX 50 series will feature a new 6x Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation, targeting 4K gaming at 240Hz. RTX Remix Logic, a new tool for modders, will allow classic games to dynamically react to in-game events.
