One-Off Pagani Huayra 70 Anima Unveiled With Gated Manual V12 - Man of Many

Pagani unveiled the Huayra 70 Anima, a one-off hypercar featuring a 7-speed gated manual V12 engine, at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas. The vehicle completes the three-part Huayra 70 trilogy celebrating founder Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday, joining the previously delivered Huayra 70 Trionfo and Huayra 70 Derecho. The Anima, developed under Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni programme, is not for sale and requires bespoke consultation before assembly. The car’s 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V12 is paired with a rear-wheel-drive manual transmission.

Bespoke Design and Craftsmanship

The Huayra 70 Anima’s bodywork features exposed carbon fibre finished in Custom Metallic Light Blue and Custom Inky Blue, with diamond dust blended into the clear paint layers for a shimmering effect. A central stripe of hand-applied platinum leaf, flanked by alternating blue accents, runs along the vehicle’s length. The design incorporates a large front splitter, side skirts, and a prominent rear wing, alongside a six-pipe white ceramic exhaust. Inside, the cabin uses white upholstery with blue trim, machined details, and a unique gear shifter. A plaque between the seats identifies it as the third Huayra 70 model, with its interior color scheme inverted from the exterior.

This design approach is part of Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni programme, which emphasizes personalized, one-off creations tailored to individual clients’ visions.

Engine and Transmission Details

The Anima’s engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12, shared with other Huayra models, though its 7-speed gated manual transmission is a departure from earlier variants that used automated gearboxes. This setup, previously seen in the Pagani Utopia, offers a mechanical linkage for rear-wheel drive. While Pagani did not disclose the exact 0-100 km/h time, the car is expected to reach 217 mph. Like its predecessors, the Anima is a one-off creation, with no public sale plans, and is intended for a private collector under the Grandi Complicazioni programme.

The car also features a carbon-titanium/’carbo-triax’ tub, adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, and a six-pipe white ceramic exhaust. The Anima’s engine tops out at 217 mph, though the exact 0-62 mph time remains undisclosed.
