Orville Peck and The Lumineers to Perform Free SXSW Shows Sponsored by Rivian
Austin, TX – South by Southwest (SXSW) 2026 will feature free concerts by acclaimed artists Orville Peck and The Lumineers, sponsored by electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian. Registration for both performances is currently open on a first-arrive, first-served basis, offering music fans a unique opportunity to experience live music during the festival.
Orville Peck’s Soulful Performance
Known for his masked persona and captivating country ballads, Orville Peck will perform at Rivian’s pop-up stage located at 800 Congress Ave. On Saturday, March 14, at 7:00 PM.
The Lumineers to Launch Rivian’s New SUV
The Lumineers, celebrated for their upbeat folk-rock anthems like “Ho Hey,” will take the stage at Waterloo Park on Monday, March 16, at 7:30 PM. The performance will coincide with the launch of Rivian’s latest electric SUV, the R2, making it a family-friendly showcase blending music and automotive innovation. The band released their fifth studio album, Automatic, last year.
Registration Information
Registration for both concerts is free but does not guarantee entry. Rivian will send an email if a ticket is issued. Registrants must be 18 years or older and will require a valid government ID for entry.
SXSW Community Concert Series Shift
This year’s SXSW community concert series has shifted locations due to Coca-Cola’s separately ticketed Sips & Sounds event at Auditorium Shores.
