Seven Arrested Following Brawl at Oslo’s Alnabru Following Traffic Incident

Oslo police arrested seven individuals late Monday night after a dispute escalated into a brawl at Alnabru, following a traffic incident. The incident involved approximately 15 people and resulted in confrontations with law enforcement.

Traffic Incident Sparks Confrontation

Police were alerted to the situation at 11:38 PM local time, according to Operasjonsleder Eirik Sannes. The initial reports described “an intense atmosphere between approximately 15 people” following a traffic-related incident.

“It appears as a quarrel between two groups after a traffic incident,” Sannes stated. “Several of those involved became aggressive towards the police when we attempted to restore peace and order.”

Arrests and Charges

Seven individuals, ranging in age from 16 to 44, were taken into custody and removed from the area. Police have filed multiple charges, including disorderly conduct, making threats, and obstructing police.

The father of a minor involved was also charged with threats and removed from the scene after allegedly making threats towards another individual although attempting to retrieve his child.
