Four Arrested After Shots Fired in Oslo’s Trasop District
Oslo police have arrested four individuals, aged 17 to 19, following an incident involving gunfire in the Trasop area of the Østensjø district on Wednesday evening. Authorities were alerted to the situation at approximately 8:52 p.m., confirming the discharge of a sharp weapon around 11:13 p.m.

All four individuals taken into custody are known to the police. The weapon used in the incident has not yet been recovered. Langfeldt confirmed that all those arrested have been detained and are currently being held for further investigation. “All four people we have control over have been arrested and have been taken to the detention center,” he said. “The matter is being widely investigated, and we take a serious view of shots being fired in a public place regardless of whether people are injured as a result or not.”
