Osomatsu-san Pop-Up Shop Arrives in Tokyo and Osaka with Dark Boyfriend Theme
Fans of the hit comedy anime will soon get a darker take on their favorite sextuplets, as the Osomatsu-san Pop-Up Shop prepares to launch in Tokyo and Osaka. Organizers have commissioned brand-new illustrations centered around a “binding boyfriend” theme for the upcoming events. The pop-up tour kicks off at MEDICOS SHOP Shinjuku, located on the second floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex, running from December 1 through December 14, 2026. Following the Tokyo run, the shop moves to Abeno Rakubasu inside Abeno Hoop in Osaka, welcoming visitors from January 16 to January 24, 2027.
Exclusive Merchandise and Life-Sized Displays
Venues will stock an array of new products featuring the dark-themed character illustrations alongside life-sized panels of the six brothers. Shoppers purchasing random merchandise can buy up to five boxes or five units per individual character variety. Attendees can also purchase an OSMO stamp cartridge at the venue. This service allows visitors to use a touch-panel terminal inside the shop to create personalized, original stamps on-site before the exhibition closes.
Earn Bonus Clear Cards with Qualifying Purchases
Shoppers spending at least 1,000 yen on related merchandise receive one random clear card out of six possible designs. Additionally, purchases totaling 3,000 yen or more qualify buyers for an exclusive venue-specific illustration card. These bonus cards feature different artwork depending on whether the purchase is made at the Tokyo or Osaka venue.
For fans unable to attend either location in person, Medicos Entertainment plans a post-event mail-order period through the MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP. This subsequent online sale will operate on a made-to-order basis, guaranteeing that buyers who reserve items during the ordering window receive both their merchandise and the associated clear card bonuses.
Admission Guidelines and Cosplay Restrictions
Tokyo organizers plan to run the venue under a free-admission schedule, though officials may distribute numbered ticketing queues if overcrowding occurs. Updates regarding entry restrictions for the Tokyo location will be posted to the official Medicos Entertainment X account. Osaka admission details will appear on the dedicated Abeno Rakubasu special page as dates approach. Management has implemented a strict dress code for shoppers attending the physical locations.
