Mei’s ‘Hop Online!’ Mythic Skin: A Deep Dive
Mei is receiving her first Mythic Skin with ‘Hop Online!’ This skin features a four-level upgrade system, allowing for extensive customization. Each level unlocks new visual elements, enhancing the skin’s overall appearance and impact.
- Level 1: Applies Technical VFX (visual effects) when using skills with the base skin.
- Level 2: Adds hairstyle change options.
- Level 3: Allows for customization of the skin color.

Release Date and Pre-Download Information
The ‘Hop Online!’ skin and the Season 1 mid-season patch will be available in-game on March 10, 2026. Players can pre-download the patch through the Battle.net launcher to jump into the game faster once the update is live. To pre-download, log in to Battle.net, select the Overwatch logo, click the gear icon next to the “Play” button, and then click “Check for Updates.” A message confirming the pre-release content download will appear upon completion.
