The Deputy Mayor for Culture, Pilar pintor, recently attended a performance of “The World of Oz,” presented by the “Danzares” Dance School, directed by Sara Vázquez, at the Florida Municipal Theater.
The performance transported the audience to the magical World of Oz, following Dorothy and her companions on their journey home, filled with emotion and fantasy.
The production creatively combined various dance disciplines – classical, contemporary, flamenco, and Spanish dance – to convey the adventure in a unique and expressive manner.
Pintor emphasized the importance of supporting local cultural initiatives and praised the artistic quality and dedication of the Danzares School’s students and teachers.She noted their success in communicating a vibrant and exciting experience through the worldwide language of dance.
