Paris FC’s Kebbal Sidelined with Injury, Chergui Nears Return
Paris FC will be without their leading scorer, Ilan Kebbal, for Sunday’s Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg due to a left quadriceps injury, as reported by L’Équipe. Kebbal, who has 8 Ligue 1 goals this season, was also suspended for last week’s 1-1 draw against Lyon.
Injury Updates for Paris FC
In addition to Kebbal’s injury, Antoine Kombouaré will also be without Tuomas Ollila, who suffered a calf contusion during training this week. Long-term injuries continue to sideline Pierre-Yves Hamel, Rémy Riou, and Hamari Traoré, who is recovering from knee surgery. Sofiane Alakouch has also experienced a setback this week after battling injuries throughout the season.
Chergui and Lopez Availability
There is positive news for Paris FC, however, as Samir Chergui is nearing a return to the squad. After recovering from a thigh injury sustained during the Africa Cup of Nations, Chergui has participated in two consecutive training sessions and could be available for selection despite a lack of match fitness. Maxime Lopez is also available for Kombouaré, having been left out of the squad last week.
