Pat Finn passed away after a private battle with cancer.
The actor, 60, died on december 23 at his Los Angeles residence, surrounded by his loved ones. The specific type of disease Pat was battling has not been revealed, but he was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2022. He reportedly went into remission, but the disease returned and metastasized.

Pat was born in Evanston, Illinois on July 31, 1965 and grew up in Wilmette. he attended Marquette University and played on the same rugby team as the late actor and comedian Chris Farley.
After graduating in 1987, he moved to Chicago and joined the Second city National Touring Company. pat also performed with the iO Theater and toured with his comedy troupe, Beer Shark Mice, according to IMDb.com.

Beyond his acting role on Friends, Finn was a dedicated improv instructor. According to his IMDB profile, he taught improv at the university of Colorado at Boulder and his alma mater, Colorado State University. He was also a co-founder of Improv-Ability, a company specializing in applying improvisation techniques to businesses for team building, motivation, and organizational development. Finn is survived by his wife, Donna, and their three children: Cassidy, Caitlin, and Ryan, and also his parents and five siblings.
A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2024, at the First Congregational Church of Fort Collins, Colorado, according to his obituary on Legacy.com.
