Responsibilities
The Rehabilitation Aide will function under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, certified occupational therapist assistant, Speech Language Pathologist, nurse, or wound care clinician. Key responsibilities include assisting with rehabilitation treatment, patient mobility, and providing patient care, all in accordance with hospital, state, professional, and federal regulations and guidelines. The role also involves maintaining patient flow, monitoring vital signs, and organizing materials and equipment within the department. Qualifications
- Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Experience: No prior experience is required, though healthcare experience in a related role is a plus.
