Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams Make Red Carpet Debut at BAFTAs
The 2026 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) marked a significant milestone for Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams, as the couple made their official red carpet debut as a pair. The appearance followed nearly two years after they were first linked, signaling a more public phase of their relationship.
A Stylish Arrival
Abrams chose a striking Chanel gown from the Matthieu Blazy’s 2026 Métiers d’art collection for the occasion. The black sleeveless dress featured teal-blue beading and aquatic motifs in shades of red and brown. She complemented the look with long diamond earrings, a statement diamond ring, and black pointy-toe heels, finishing with a deep-brown nail polish.
Mescal’s Prada Ensemble
Mescal, nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Hamnet, opted for a black Prada suit. He wore the suit open with a white dress shirt, leaving the collar open and sleeves slightly rolled up for a relaxed style. He was styled by Felicity Kay.
Relationship Timeline
The couple previously made a more casual public appearance at the London premiere of Paul McCartney’s documentary, Man on The Run, on February 18th. They have been dating since 2024, with sightings in various locations, including city streets and festival sites, and featured in Abrams’ social media posts. Abrams celebrated both Mescal and a friend’s birthday in a heartfelt Instagram post earlier in February.
BAFTAs Night
The BAFTAs also drew other high-profile attendees, including Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Prince William, and Princess Kate, adding to the evening’s glamorous atmosphere. Mescal previously won the BAFTA Television Award for Best Actor in 2021 for his role in Normal People.
