University of Pennsylvania Softball Announces 2026 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania softball team, under the leadership of head coach Christie Novatin, has released its schedule for the 2026 season. the schedule features a mix of challenging tournaments and Ivy League competition, aiming to build on the program’s success.
Early Season Tournaments
The Quakers will begin their season wiht a series of tournaments in the southern united States. The team will first travel to the College of Charleston for the Lowcountry Classic from february 13-16, facing western Carolina and UMass on February 13, followed by Sacred Heart and Charleston Southern on february 14, and Charleston on February 15.
Penn will then head to Longwood University for a tournament from February 27 to March 1, competing against Youngstown and Hampton on February 27, Longwood and mount St. Mary’s on February 28, and Youngstown on March 1. The tournament schedule concludes at the Catamount Classic hosted by Western Carolina University from March 6-8, with matchups against Ohio and Western Carolina on March 6, ohio and Robert Morris on March 7, and Western Carolina on March 8.
Home and Ivy League play
Upon returning from their Southern swing, the Quakers will host North dakota on March 11. A homestand continues with a double-header against St. peter’s on March 14, followed by a single game against St. Peter’s on March 15, and Lehigh on March 18.
Ivy League play kicks off with a series against Dartmouth on March 21 and 22, followed by Cornell on March 28 and 29.
April and May Schedule
April begins with a road trip to Rider on April 1. Penn then welcomes Yale for a double-header on April 4 and a single game on April 5. An extended road trip follows, including games against Monmouth on April 8, Princeton on April 11 and 12, Saint Joseph’s on April 15, and Harvard on april 18 and 19.
The Quakers will conclude their home contests against Villanova on April 22 and Columbia on April 25 and 26. The regular season will wrap up with a series against Brown in Providence, Rhode Island, on May 2 and 3.
