Controversial informational signs detailing Islamic prayer times in Penzberg have been targeted by vandals for a second time. Perpetrators sprayed black paint over the public notices overnight between Thursday and Friday, according to local police reports.
Black Paint Covers Public Notices in Overnight Attacks
The latest defacements occurred between 7:00 PM Thursday and 6:55 AM Friday.
Authorities confirmed that the targeted signs were erected in Untermaxkron, as well as along Bichler Straße and Sindelsdorfer Straße.
“The three damaged signs were seized,” police stated regarding the recovered evidence.
Weilheim Kripo Launches Fresh Criminal Investigation
The criminal investigation into the repeated property damage is being handled by the Kripo Weilheim.
Investigators are treating the incidents as targeted vandalism and are actively seeking information from the public to identify the person or persons responsible for the paint attacks.

Local law enforcement has urged anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or made relevant observations in the areas of Untermaxkron, Bichler Straße, or Sindelsdorfer Straße during the affected window to contact detectives directly at telephone number 0881/6400.
