Google Photos Restores Missing Perspective Correction Feature

JAKARTA – Google Photos is fixing one of the biggest mistakes in its editor update this year. After a major overhaul of the photo editing interface a few months ago, many users complained about missing features – perspective correction – one of the most useful tools for correcting the angles and tilt of photos. Now, signs of this feature are appearing again.

When Google updated the look of the Photos editor last summer, the company accidentally removed the perspective correction tool that previously appeared in the settings menu crop. The loss of this feature promptly became a highlight because many users relied on it to tidy up photos that were asymmetrical or looked skewed.

Google later confirmed that it planned to bring back the feature, but without a definite release schedule. Now, based on the latest findings, code for perspective correction has been included again in the latest version of the Photos submission.
