The victory marks Poland’s third VNL championship, extending a streak of seven consecutive VNL podium finishes for the program.

Match Details and Final Set Scores

According to official tournament data, Poland claimed the title with a 25-21, 23-25, 25-27, 25-23, 15-10 victory over the United States in a match lasting nearly four hours before an audience of approximately 6,000 spectators. The statistics showed Poland outperforming the United States in blocks (12-8) and service aces (8-4), while committing 29 unforced errors compared to 34 for the American side. Kamil Semeniuk led Poland with 17 points, including three blocks and one ace. Outside hitter Wilfredo León contributed 15 points, which included three blocks and two critical service aces in the opening set. Tomasz Fornal also scored 15 points and added five aces. Tomasz Fornal received the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award following the final. The Polish squad finished the 2026 VNL campaign with 10 wins across 12 matches, defeating Ukraine 3-1 in the quarterfinals and sweeping Slovenia in the semifinals before securing the gold medal against the United States.
