Poste Italiane Reports Record 2025 Results, Synergies with Telecom Italia Drive Growth
Poste Italiane concluded 2025 with record-breaking financial results, benefiting from initial gains stemming from its strategic investment in Telecom Italia (TIM). The group, led by CEO Matteo Del Fante, reported an operating result of €3.2 billion, a 10% increase and a net result of €2.2 billion, also up 10%. Revenues grew by 4% to reach €13.1 billion.

Poste Italiane has initiated a reorganization plan integrating its payments company, PostePay, into BancoPosta, creating a new financial hub for integrated payment and financial services.

- Mail, Parcel & Distribution: Total revenues reached €3.9 billion (+2.7%). Parcel delivery revenues increased from €1.58 billion to €1.73 billion, while mail revenues decreased slightly. 349 million parcels were delivered.
- Financial Services: Revenues from third-party financial services amounted to €5.6 billion (+2.9%), driven by growth in interest margins and postal savings. Net result for the sector grew to €766 million.
- Insurance Services: Revenues increased to €1.8 billion (+11.3%).
- Payment Services: Revenues grew to €1.66 billion (+5.1%).
- Energy Sector: Revenues nearly doubled from €76 million to €126 million, with 1.023 million energy contracts.
New Industrial Plan
Poste Italiane’s new industrial plan is scheduled to be presented by the end of 2026, following the renewal of the company’s top management during the financial statement approval meeting.
