Mohammad Pouladgar Appointed Chef de Mission for Iran’s 2026 Asian Para Games Delegation
Nagoya, Japan – Mohammad Pouladgar has been officially named the chef de Mission for Iran’s delegation to the 2026 Asian para Games, set to take place in Nagoya, Japan. The appointment was made following a decision at the 25th General Assembly of the National paralympic Committee on Monday.
Pouladgar currently holds the position of Vice President of the National Paralympic Committee, bringing a wealth of administrative and leadership experience to the role. His extensive background includes a distinguished tenure as the former head of the Taekwondo Federation and a previous appointment as deputy Minister of Sports and Youth.
This appointment marks a continuation of trust placed in Pouladgar’s leadership capabilities. He successfully led the Iranian delegation at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, a mission that was met with positive outcomes and logistical efficiency.
