Prince Andrew Released, But Not Cleared, Amidst New Epstein File Revelations
Former Prince Andrew has been released following his arrest in connection with newly released files related to Jeffrey Epstein, though he has not been cleared of any wrongdoing. The developments come as the US House Oversight Committee continues to publish documents from Epstein’s estate, shedding light on the prince’s association with the convicted sex offender.
Details from the Released Flight Logs
Newly released documents reveal Prince Andrew took flights on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet on at least four occasions. Flight logs show he traveled from Luton to Edinburgh on September 1, 2006, with Ghislaine Maxwell. Other flights included a trip on May 12, 2000, with Epstein, Maxwell, celebrity chef Adam Perry Lang, a bodyguard, and three others. Two further flights in 1999 also list “Prince Andrew” alongside royal protection officer Steve Burgess.
Passengers on other flights included Gwendolyn Beck, wife of former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, and Claire Hazel. These flights traveled between the US Virgin Islands and Florida, and between New Jersey and the US Virgin Islands in February 1999.
Previous Allegations and Testimony
Prince Andrew’s connection to Epstein has been under scrutiny for years. Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial previously highlighted his presence on Epstein’s jet, with one of Maxwell’s accusers alleging she also flew with the prince in the mid-1990s. A pilot for Epstein’s jet, Larry Visoski, testified that Prince Andrew flew on the aircraft “a number of times.”
Prince Andrew Steps Back from Royal Duties
The release of these flight logs occurred shortly after Prince Andrew announced he would cease using his royal titles and honors, including the Duke of York. The Independent reports this decision came as the new information surfaced.

The release of the Epstein files has led to fresh allegations against Prince Andrew, some of which are currently under police investigation. Sky News reports that authorities are reviewing the new information.
