PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Western Europe Finals: 16 Teams & Format

The PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Western Europe Finals open on Friday, 18 September, bringing 16 amateur and semi-professional squads together to compete for two coveted spots in the Season 2 Main Event, according to Shane the Gamer. Organized by G2’s media house, 62, through a partnership between G2 and PUBG Mobile Esports, the three-day tournament runs through 20 September with 18 total matches scheduled across the weekend.

Tournament Format and Schedule

Teams play six matches per day over the course of the three-day event, totaling 18 matches for the weekend. According to Shane the Gamer, the competition features a high-stakes elimination structure where 14 of the 16 participating squads will miss out on advancement. Only the top two finishing teams earn qualification into the PMGO Season 2 Main Event, which takes place in Pakistan in October and features a $500,000 prize pool.

Qualified Teams in the Western Europe Finals

The 16 competing rosters secured their places through regional qualifiers. According to Shane the Gamer, qualifying position reflects regular placement rather than a prediction of final standings, and every team enters the opening day with equal opportunity to capture the two available slots.
