Puebla Launches Expanded “Your Unstoppable Credit 2026” Program for Local Businesses

The Puebla City Council has announced an expansion of its “Your Unstoppable Credit 2026” program, a financing initiative designed to support entrepreneurs, businesswomen and micro, compact, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) within the municipality. The program offers accessible financing schemes with interest rates ranging from 0% to 15%, depending on the loan type and cycle.

Increased Budget and Program Details

Jaime Oropeza Casas, Secretary of Economy and Tourism, reported that the program’s budget has been increased to 20 million pesos for 2026, allowing the City Hall to cover the interest on loans for eligible beneficiaries. The program features three distinct modalities tailored to different business needs:

Your Woman Credit

This modality is specifically designed for solidarity groups of between 10 and 40 women. It provides loans ranging from 5,000 to 8,000 pesos, payable in 16 weeks with a 0% interest rate. Applicants must be between 21 and 75 years old, have a business operating in the municipality for at least six months, and be willing to save 10% of the requested loan amount.

Your Individual Credit

Targeted towards individuals with established businesses operating for at least one year, this option offers financing from 10,000 to 70,000 pesos, available in up to three cycles. Interest rates range from 0% to a maximum of 3.5%.

Your Business Yes Plus

This scheme is designed for formal companies with at least two years of operation and an active RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registry). It provides access to loans between 70,000 and 250,000 pesos, with terms of 12 and 18 months. Interest rates vary from 0% to 15% annually, depending on the chosen cycle.

Application Deadlines

The application period is currently open and will remain so until December 31, 2026, or until available resources are exhausted. For “Your Business Yes Plus,” specific deadlines apply: April 30 for the 18-month scheme and July 31 for the 12-month scheme.

Boosting Puebla’s Economy

Oropeza Casas encouraged Puebla entrepreneurs to take advantage of the program, emphasizing its potential to strengthen local businesses, generate employment opportunities, and stimulate economic growth within the state capital. In 2025, Puebla received over 3 million tourists, including 300,000 in December alone . The city is too actively promoting itself as a cultural and international destination .

the Ayuntamiento de Puebla anticipates attracting 683 million pesos in investments through 32 projects in 2026 , which is expected to create 2,350 direct jobs and numerous indirect employment opportunities.
