“And what I’m talking about is the potential discipline of a handful of players that we believe will be handed down — whatever it is — by the start of the regular season.”

Schefter specifically noted that missing the Week 1 matchup against the 49ers in Australia remains a realistic possibility for Nacua. The outcome depends entirely on how the league’s reviews conclude.
Alaric Jackson Faces Scrutiny Too
The NFL’s current review process extends beyond Nacua. Schefter reported that Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson is also under league scrutiny following his June arrest on a domestic violence charge.
