Washington, February 7th /QNA/ As part of an official visit to the US capital Washington, DC, His Excellency, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, with several US officials. According to the Department of Trade and Industry in a statement released on Saturday, His Excellency met with US Undersecretary of Industry and Security Jeffrey Kessler, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Michael Kratsios, and Special Adviser to the President of the United States and Senior Director for Global Supply Chains in the National Security Council, David Copley. The discussions focused on ways to deepen economic and trade relations between the State of Qatar and the United States, as well as a number of other issues of common interest.
The Minister of State for Foreign Trade emphasized the importance of the partnership between the two countries in various areas, including economy, trade and investment. In addition, His Excellency noted that this partnership is continually evolving, reflecting the strength of bilateral relations and the desire of both sides to further deepen them in the future.
