Former Raiders LB Miles Burris to Portray Legendary Teammate in Upcoming Madden Movie

The upcoming Madden movie is gaining traction and with it, a particularly compelling story of full-circle dedication. Former Raiders linebacker Miles Burris will portray his former teammate and mentor, Phil Villapiano, in the film, set to release this November.

A Lifelong Connection

Burris’s connection to Villapiano extends far beyond the football field. He first met the Raiders legend as a child, and later had the opportunity to play alongside him during his three seasons with the team (2012-2015) after being drafted in the fourth round out of San Diego State.
