Reno Police Department (RPD) is currently searching for Frank Hidalgo, a 29-year-old man who fled Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center on Wednesday morning. Hidalgo was in custody on felony charges and is also wanted by Nevada State Police for a parole violation.

According to police reports, Hidalgo was receiving medical treatment at the hospital due to a pre-existing medical condition that prevented him from being immediately booked into the Washoe County Jail. Hidalgo is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored shorts and no shoes. A white bandage fully wraps his left leg as detailed by KRNV.

The last confirmed sighting of Hidalgo was near Airway Drive and Longley Lane in Reno according to KRNV.
