Salt Lake City police confirmed Robert Cosby Jr. Died on Monday, February 23, 2026, after responding to an overdose call at approximately 6:14 p.m. USA Today reported the death is now being investigated by the medical examiner’s office.
Mary Cosby’s Statement
Mary Cosby and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., released a statement expressing their grief. “Our beloved son Robert Jr. Has been called home to the Lord. Bravo released a statement expressing their condolences, stating, “We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Mary’s beloved son, Robert Jr. Mary is a cherished member of our family, and our thoughts, love and deepest condolences are with her and her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.” USA Today reported that Andy Cohen, an executive producer on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, likewise mourned Robert Jr.’s death, calling it “devastatingly sad news” and “every parent’s worst nightmare.”
