The decision was also influenced by her mother’s experience with breast cancer, which led to early menopause. Ora discussed this on the Begin Again podcast, explaining that her mother’s treatment stimulated menopause at a young age, prompting her to proactively learn about her own reproductive health. The number of people choosing to freeze their eggs has increased significantly, with a 45% rise from 2022 to 2023, according to the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA).

While egg freezing is becoming more common, it’s vital to remember that it doesn’t guarantee a future pregnancy.
