Survey Methodology Behind the Forbes Ranking

Forbes and Statista determined the 2026 Best-In-State Employers rankings by surveying an independent sample of more than 245,000 U.S. employees. Eligible organizations must employ at least 500 workers within the United States. The selection process evaluated more than 2 million employer assessments.

The final scoring system relies on two distinct categories of feedback. Personal evaluations come directly from employees themselves. Public evaluations incorporate feedback from friends, family members of employees, and professionals working within the same industry.

Workforce Investments and Career Growth Initiatives

Jesse Goodrich, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Riverside Health, emphasized that the ongoing recognition stems from intentional investments in workplace culture. This honor reflects our continued commitment to creating an environment where team members can grow, thrive and feel valued, Goodrich stated.

Leadership programs, workforce advancement initiatives, and the Riverside College of Health Sciences provide structured pathways for team members to build meaningful careers across various stages of their professional journeys.
