While awaiting the presentation of the 2026 edition of the Atlas of contemporary Art published by Giunti at the MoMA in New York, which features his work “Selfie_22“, artist Robert Morzetti will be a key participant in Art in cloud 2025, the international contemporary art fair in Rome, scheduled from November 21st to 23rd. His works will be showcased at stand E27 of ARTHOTEL Paris-Rome-Milan,a project by Alessia Bennani,curated by architect Marco Giammetta.
“My participation in Arte in Nuvola 2025 arose from a connection between my curator, architect Marco Giammetta, and architect Alessia Bennani, my gallery owner and founder of the ARTHOTEL Paris-Rome-Milan project,” explains the Tuscan artist. “The overarching theme for 2025/2026 – ‘Art and Sport, The Best of Oneself’ – provides an opportunity to explore the dialog between architectural space, environmental space, and interior space. The latter, the space of the soul, is where I feel most connected and where I recognize the authentic root of my work: Tuscia, a land of ancient deities, rites of transformation, and continuous interplay between the visible and invisible.”
“Thanks to this shared vision,” continues Morzetti, “my works find their expressive space, prompting reflection on inner power, the balance between body and spirit, and the ongoing pursuit of harmony that defines both art and life. This embraces the foundations of spirituality and discipline characteristic of Korean thought, the guest country of this edition of Arte in Nuvola.”
For this edition, Morzetti presents a sculptural journey centered around the theme of self-care as a path to knowledge-an inner journey rooted in both contemporary introspection and Etruscan and Classical mythology. Traditions the artist intimately understands through his upbringing and cultural background in Tuscania, a land of necropolises, ancient deities, rites of transformation, and the constant dialogue between the visible and invisible. Within this context, the featured works – OBSENTIA_25, BONADEA_25, UNI_25, VOLTUMNA_25, SATIVA_25, MORFEA_22, SELFIE_22, MIRROR_22 – form a constellation of symbolic presences evoking ancient rites, divine lineages, Mediterranean archetypes, and internal tensions that transcend time.
