The former world number one continues his selective appearances at major tennis showcases following previous stops at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
US Open Exhibition and Hall of Fame Induction
Before heading to Asia, Federer will compete in an exhibition doubles match at the US Open alongside tennis legends John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, and Andre Agassi, according to event scheduling details. Following the New York appearance, the Swiss star will travel to Newport, Rhode Island, where he is scheduled to be formally inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame between August 27 and 30.
The “Roger & Friends” Shanghai Masters Return
According to journalist Michael Samulski, Federer will travel to China for the Rolex Shanghai Masters, which runs from October 7 to 18. On October 16, he will participate in the “Roger & Friends” exhibition event, mirroring his special appearance at the 2025 edition of the Masters 1000 tournament.
