The company is shuttering specific AM and FM outlets as it retreats from traditional broadcast markets. The following stations are ceasing operations:
Vancouver: Sportsnet 650 (CISL) and News 1130 (CKWX) — Note: While the News 1130 brand is retiring from the AM dial, its programming will transition to the FM frequency 98.3.
Calgary: Sportsnet 960 (CFAC).
Kitchener: Country 106.7 (CIKZ) and CityNews 570 (CKGL).
Halifax: News 95.7 (CJNI).
