NASA’s FIRMS satellite tracking system, which monitors thermal anomalies worldwide, recorded active fires corresponding to the Russian military’s reported targets: the Vyshhorod hydroelectric plant north of Kyiv, the Trypilska thermal power plant to the south, and a local electrical substation.

The Ukrainian air force stated that its defenses successfully intercepted five ballistic missiles of various types during the raid, alongside 155 out of 188 incoming attack drones. Military-linked Telegram channels disputed the official missile count, asserting that Moscow deployed more than double that number.
