Sal Da Vinci Faces Scheduling Conflict Between Eurovision and North American Tour

Italian singer Sal Da Vinci, winner of the Sanremo Music Festival 2026, is facing a scheduling conflict between his upcoming North American tour with Fausto Leali and his performance in the Eurovision Song Contest final in Vienna on May 16th.

Tour and Eurovision Dates Clash

Da Vinci qualified for the Eurovision final, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th. Though, the first date of his “Da Vinci-Leali: Two voices…one tour” with Fausto Leali is also set for May 16th in Atlantic City. Additional tour dates include Boston on May 17th, Chicago on May 20th, and Montreal, Canada on May 22nd.

A Long-Standing Collaboration

Da Vinci and Leali have a history of collaboration, with Leali accompanying Da Vinci in key moments of his career, including his wins at the Italian Festival and his debut in Sanremo in 2009. Leali was also honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Sanremo Festival, where the two artists met to promote the tour. Leali shared that his American manager requested a collaboration partner, and both he and Da Vinci independently suggested each other.

Finding a Solution

Da Vinci expressed his close friendship with Leali, stating, “Fausto Leali is a particularly dear friend, he accompanied my career in crucial events… in my happy moments, Fausto Leali is always there.” A solution to the scheduling conflict is currently being sought, with the possibility of postponing some dates of the North American tour, as Eurovision’s date cannot be changed.
