Samsung TVs to Bring Google Photos to the big Screen in 2026

Samsung Electronics is integrating Google Photos into its TVs,offering users a new way to enjoy their cherished memories on a larger, more immersive screen. This collaboration aims to make reliving and sharing photos easier for families.

“Samsung TVs have always brought people together, and bringing Google Photos to the big screen makes that experience even more personal,” says Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the customer Experience Team at Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business. “We’re giving users an intuitive and engaging way to enjoy the stories behind their photos – right from the comfort of their living room.”

A New Way to Experience Your Photos

Google Photos simplifies reliving and sharing memories. The integration will display photos taken on your phone in a cinematic format on your Samsung TV.

Users can explore curated memories organized by people, places, and significant events. Google Photos will also work with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion (VAC), enhancing how memories are presented and enjoyed daily.

Samsung envisions Google photos becoming a core part of the TV experience. Expect Photos to appear naturally within Daily+ and Daily Briefing, offering a seamless and personalized experience.

The rollout will happen in phases. Memories will debut on Samsung TVs in 2026, with create and personalized results capabilities following later in the year. [1]
