Samsung’s SABAAR Campaign Encourages Meaningful Ramadan Moments at Home

As Ramadan approaches, Samsung Electronics Indonesia has launched the SABAAR campaign – an initiative designed to remind families to slow down, reconnect, and create more meaningful moments together at home. Inspired by the Indonesian word “sabar” (patience), the campaign highlights how simple changes, supported by technology, can enrich the Ramadan experience.

Finding Calm Amidst the Rush

Ramadan, traditionally a time for reflection and togetherness, often becomes hectic with work, family responsibilities, and preparations for Eid al-Fitr. Samsung recognizes this challenge and aims to provide solutions for a more peaceful and connected experience.

SABAAR: “Saatnya Berganti Layar” (Time to Change Screen)

The core message of the SABAAR campaign is encapsulated in its tagline, “Saatnya Berganti Layar” (Time to Change Screen). Samsung encourages consumers to enhance their viewing experience with larger screens and higher resolutions, making movies, religious programs, and family time more immersive. A screen size of up to 98 inches is available to provide sharper and more detailed visuals.

Enhanced Viewing and Audio Experience

Beyond screen size, Samsung emphasizes audio quality. Q-Symphony technology synchronizes the sound from the TV and soundbar, creating a richer, more harmonious audio experience. This technology aims to elevate home entertainment during the holy month.

Interactive Entertainment for the Family

Samsung is also promoting interactive entertainment options for families. The Stingray Karaoke feature, available on Samsung TVs, allows users to sing along to their favorite songs using their smartphones as microphones, fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Smart Home Integration for Seamless Convenience

The Daily Board feature allows users to display Ramadan reminders and greetings directly on their TV screen. Samsung TVs with SmartThings support can function as a smart home hub, enabling users to manage various devices and create automated routines, such as reminders for dawn and breaking the fast.

Creating a Ramadan Atmosphere with The Frame and Music Frame

To enhance the Ramadan ambiance, Samsung suggests utilizing The Frame and Music Frame. The Frame’s Art Mode can display Islamic calligraphy, mosque illustrations, or family photos, adding a calming aesthetic to the living room. The Music Frame provides clear audio and can play sacred verses, religious songs, or calming instrumental music.

Technology Fostering Connection

Ubay Bayanudin, Head of Product – AV Business, Samsung Electronics Indonesia, stated that even amidst the busyness of Ramadan, simple changes can strengthen family bonds. Samsung aims to provide warmth and convenience through its technological innovations, supporting daily activities and creating a more connected home environment. Samsung Newsroom
