Samyang Group Launches Specialty Materials Campaign With Actor Park Jeong-min

Samyang Group released a new corporate advertising series titled Making the Impossible Make Sense on its official YouTube channel, featuring actor Park Jeong-min for the second time. The campaign highlights five core specialty materials through five distinct episodes designed to showcase the company’s technological innovations.

Five Specialty Materials Highlighted in the Campaign

The newly unveiled advertisements focus on distinct products developed by Samyang Group. The featured materials include allulose, a zero-calorie alternative sweetener; isosorbide, an eco-friendly bio-based material derived from corn; ion-exchange resin, which is necessary to produce high-purity water for semiconductors; SENS, a proprietary gene therapy delivery platform; and biodegradable surgical sutures.

To communicate the technical capabilities of these products, the campaign utilizes paradoxical dialogue. Lines such as Semiconductors live in truly clean water and Corn is plastic drive each short narrative, pointing to the real-world utility of materials that solve complex manufacturing challenges.

Actor Park Jeong-min Returns as Campaign Model

Actor Park Jeong-min leads the 2026 campaign following his appearance in Samyang Group’s previous corporate advertisements. According to corporate representatives, Park Jeong-min’s playful acting style fits the lighthearted yet informative tone required to explain complex manufacturing processes to general audiences.

Samyang Holdings HRC Head Lee Soo-bum stated that the campaign aims to demonstrate the practical impact of the company’s specialty portfolio in a direct and engaging manner. The advertisements air across the group’s official YouTube channel, Instagram accounts, portal sites, and online video streaming platforms.

Samyang Group Builds on Prior Promotional Work

The ongoing partnership builds on prior promotional work. Last year, Samyang Group released corporate advertisements under the themes ‘당연해서 몰라봤던 스페셜티’ and ‘보통T가 아니다 스페셜티다’, which collectively accumulated over 200 million views. Earlier this year, the company also partnered with domestic fashion platform Musinsa to sell limited-edition specialty-themed t-shirts.
