Man Arrested in Connection with New Year’s Day Fatal Shooting in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – Mark Howard Anthony, 39, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of Marcus Robinson-Tynes, 37, which occurred on New Year’s Day outside a West Side bar, according to Bexar County jail records KSAT and KENS5.

Details of the Shooting

The shooting took place around 2:30 a.m. On January 1, 2026, in the parking lot of the Stout House Bar located in the 9200 block of Potranco Road near State Highway 151 KSAT. Argument and Escalation

According to an arrest affidavit, a fight began inside the Stout House before spilling into the parking lot KENS5. The argument reportedly began when a member of Anthony’s group claimed affiliation with a gang, prompting a response from Robinson-Tynes’ group referencing the “east side” or “west side” KSAT. This escalated the situation into a physical altercation.

Another suspect, identified as Dai’Vonte E Shaun Titus Ross, also allegedly fired shots from behind the victim’s vehicle before it crashed into a wall KENS5.
