Sanremo 2026: First Night Rankings and Performances
The 76th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival kicked off with a strong first night, showcasing all 30 competing songs. Early reviews and rankings are emerging, with Ditonellapiaga, Serena Brancale, Fedez, and Masini quickly becoming contenders for victory.
First Night Performances and Initial Rankings
Ditonellapiaga opened the festival with their energetic performance of “Che fastidio!” and received a preliminary score of 10 points. Following them were Michele Bravi with “Prima o poi,” and Sayf performing “Tu mi piaci tanto.”
The performance order continued with Mara Sattei, Dargen D’Amico, Arisa, Luchè, Tommaso Paradiso, Elettra Lamborghini, Patty Pravo, Samurai Jay, Raf, J-Ax, Fulminacci, Levante, Fedez and Marco Masini, and Ermal Meta.
Performances after midnight, receiving 5 points each, included Serena Brancale with Nayt, Malika Ayane, Eddie Brock, Sal Da Vinci, Enrico Nigiotti, Tredici Pietro, and Rag Dolls. Chiello, Maria Antonietta, and Colombre performed after 1 AM, earning 10 points, as did Leo Gassmann and Francesco Renga.
LDA and Aka7even concluded the first night, receiving the highest initial score of 20 points.
Artist Spotlights
Michele Bravi delivered a performance described as a “crooner” style rendition of “Prima o poi,” praised for his vocal talent, though some critics found the song itself less compelling Ticino News.
