The seventy-sixth edition of the Italian Song Festival, Sanremo 2026, is set to conclude on Tuesday, February 24th, but predictions about the potential winner have already begun circulating, particularly after previews of the competing songs were released to the press.
Sanremo 2026: Who are the Bookmakers’ Favorites?
As of the eve of the event’s opening, leading bookmakers are highlighting Serena Brancale as the frontrunner, with odds of 3.00 (Snai), 3.25 (Lottomatica) and 3.50 (Sisal). This places her ahead of the duo Fedez and Marco Masini, currently at 7.50 (Snai), 5.00 (Sisal), and 6.00 (Lottomatica).
Following closely is Tommaso Paradiso, making his debut at the Ariston with the song «I Romantici» at 7.50 (Snai, Sisal and Lottomatica). Rapper Sayf is also considered a strong contender, with odds of 7.50.
The Lineup for the First Evening
Other artists gaining popularity among bettors include Ermal Meta (20.00 Sisal, 16.00 Snai, 21.00 Lottomatica), Eddie Brock (20.00 Sisal, 16.00 Snai, 18.00 Lottomatica), Arisa (20.00 Sisal, 16.00 Snai and Lottomatica), Ditonellapiaga (16.00 Sisal and Snai, 13.00 Lottomatica), and Thunderbolts (20.00 Sisal, 16.00 Snai, 21.00 Lottomatica).
However, Samurai Jay (200.00 Sisal, 301.00 Lottomatica, 150 Snai) and Elettra Lamborghini (200.00 Sisal, 201.00 Lottomatica, 150 Snai) are considered less likely to win, though, as the saying goes in Sanremo, anything can happen.
Post-Preview Popularity
After a preview listening session for accredited journalists, Andrea Laffranchi awarded Thunderbolts, performing «Stupid bad luck», the highest score of 8. Chiello and Tommaso Paradiso both received a score of 7.5.
Malika Ayane, Sayf, Ditonellapiaga, and Thirteen Peter also received positive reviews with a score of 7. Fedez/Cars received a 6.5, while Serena Brancale received a 5. Samurai Jay (4.5) and Da Vinci Hall (4) received the lowest scores.
