Heerenveen Secures Luton Striker Lasse Nordås on Loan, Adds Belgian Talent Luca Oyen

SC Heerenveen has bolstered its attacking options with the addition of Norwegian striker Lasse Nordås on a six-month loan from English League One side Luton Town [[1]]. The move comes as Heerenveen prepares for potential departure of Václav Sejk, who is reportedly seeking more playing time.
Nordås Arrives to Strengthen Heerenveen’s attack
The 23-year-old Nordås, standing at 1.94 meters tall, is seen as a potential replacement for Sejk, who has expressed interest in a move to Sigma Olomouc [[1]]. Nordås joined Luton Town in January of the previous year, having previously played for Bodo/Glimt and Tromsø. Despite a transfer fee exceeding €3 million from Tromsø in early 2025, he has seen limited action with Luton, making only four league appearances this season and scoring one goal.
Wrexham Misses Out on Nordås
Heerenveen successfully beat out competition from other clubs, including Wrexham, to secure the loan signing of Nordås [[2]] and [[3]]. Championship side Wrexham had also shown interest in the Norwegian forward.
Belgian Winger Luca Oyen Completes Move
In addition to Nordås, Heerenveen has also added Belgian winger Luca Oyen to thier squad. The 22-year-old Oyen, a former talent from KRC Genk, has already joined the team’s training camp in Spain, with the final details of his contract expected to be completed soon. Oyen has signed a contract with Heerenveen that will run until 2029.
