SEGA plans to release a complete physical Year One Edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which first appeared on Amazon UK in September and later surfaced on Saudi retailer Geekay. The bundle includes all six paid expansion packs from the game’s first year alongside exclusive physical items, though SEGA has not yet issued an official announcement.
What Content the Year One Edition Brings to Players
According to retail listings from Amazon UK and Geekay, the physical package gathers the entirety of the game’s initial twelve months of paid downloadable content. The boxed version features the Minecraft pack containing Steve, Alex, and Creeper, alongside the SpongeBob SquarePants pack featuring SpongeBob and Patrick. Players also receive the Pac-Man collaboration with Pac-Man and the four ghosts, as well as the Mega Man pack with Mega Man and Proto Man. Rounding out the expansions are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem pack and the Avatar Legends pack. Physical purchasers also receive a patch featuring the Sonic 35th anniversary logo and a reversible cover, though the packaging notes that an internet connection is required. The Amazon UK listing initially displayed a price of £54.99 and a release date of November 3 for PlayStation 5, with no Nintendo Switch 2 version spotted yet. Prior to this discovery, physical copies included only the standard edition, while the Deluxe edition with all DLCs remained exclusively digital.

SEGA scheduled a detailed look at the second year of content for Friday, October 9. Later that evening at 8:30 PM, the Club Chaos livestream hosted by Jacki Jing will deliver previews and special announcements, accompanied by musical performances from Thundercat, Austin Millz, and Tee Lopes.
