Role Overview

The Senior Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Division Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and alignment with IFC’s strategic objectives. The position requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in executive support, event leadership, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive & Strategic Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, manage complex calendars, coordinate travel, and ensure the timely execution of decisions and assignments.
  • Liaison & Communication: Serve as a trusted liaison between the Director and internal/external stakeholders, handling sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Event Leadership: Lead the planning and coordination of high-level events, VIP missions, and roundtables in Brazil and the Southern Cone, managing logistics, stakeholder communications, and budgets.
  • Project Management: Support departmental projects, contributing to the effective achievement of departmental goals.
  • Document & Presentation Management: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and institutional compliance of documents, reports, and presentations, utilizing AI tools and advanced systems.

Selection Criteria

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience supporting senior executives in complex organizations.
  • Proven experience leading high-level events independently.
  • Strong project management skills, including stakeholder coordination, timeline management, and budget oversight.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in relevant technology.
  • Full proficiency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken; Spanish fluency is a strong advantage.
