SiN: Reloaded – Nightdive Studios Revives Cult Classic FPS

Nightdive Studios has announced the 2026 release of SiN: Reloaded, a complete remaster of the 1998 first-person shooter SiN and its expansion pack, Wages of SiN. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch.

A Blast from the Past

Originally released in 1998, SiN was lauded for pushing the Quake II engine to its limits and introducing a high degree of interactivity. Players take on the role of Colonel John R. Blade, a security consultant tasked with stopping Doctor Elexis Sinclaire, the CEO of SinTEK Industries, from distributing a DNA-altering drug.

What to Expect in the Remaster

SiN: Reloaded features enhanced remastered visuals and modernized control schemes. Players can expect the same innovative gameplay that made the original a cult classic, including:

• Hacking computer terminals using DOS-style code
• Utilizing physics to solve puzzles
• Operating vehicles like forklifts, patrol boats, and helicopters
• Branching paths and consequences based on player actions
• The ability to knock weapons from opponents’ hands and inflict area-specific damage

Wages of SiN Included

The remastered edition includes the Wages of SiN mission pack, adding new content and challenges as players confront a diabolical mafia boss and his army of genetically engineered freaks. GamesPress reported the announcement on March 9, 2026.
