Sisi Affirms Arab Solidarity with UAE and Qatar Amid Regional Tensions

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi concluded a tour of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar on Thursday, reaffirming Cairo’s unwavering support for Gulf states in the face of escalating regional tensions and recent Iranian attacks. The visits underscored Egypt’s position that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations is integral to its own national security.

Strengthening Ties with the UAE

President El-Sisi began his tour in the UAE, where he met with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During their discussions, El-Sisi expressed Egypt’s full backing for the UAE’s efforts to safeguard its national security and stability.
