Siyana’s Father Launches Civil Movement Siyanie – Bulgaria News

Siyana’s father, Nikolay Popov, founded the Civic Movement “Siyanie”, he himself announced.

I am aware of your expectations.

Meetings, messages, calls, holding hands give me strength and will to continue.

The civil movement will be called “Shine”. It will be attended by experts and young people who are willing to work for free for real change.

Some of the main goals and tasks before us will be:

1. Large-scale judicial reform, based not on the principle of “get up and sit down”, but on a real change of the system and ensuring a fast and efficient judicial process in civil and criminal justice.

– Total reform of the SJC and termination of political quotas and interference.

– Termination of expired mandates.

– Creation of a law and an institute for experts, which will also admit international experts from all fields.

– End of manipulations through expertise and order conclusions.

– Actual convictions for serious crimes.

– Protecting victims, not perpetrators.

– A country that stands behind its citizens, not against them.

2. Full scale healthcare reform.

– Stopping false hospitalizations.

– Emergency care reform.

– Construction of children’s hospitals in all regional cities.

– Strict control over the NHIF and stop the outflow of billions.

– The children should be treated in modern hospitals in Bulgaria, and not be forced to seek salvation abroad.

3. Reform in the “Roads” sector.

– Implementation of real European standards for road construction and repairs.

– Creation of an independent control body for inspection, audit and acceptance of the road network.

– Personal liability for designers, contractors and government officials in case of substandard construction.

– Full public control over contracts, annexes and costs.

4. Zero tolerance for corruption.

– Transparency in all public procurement. Minimizing the human factor and digitizing processes.

– Real responsibility, not imitation of control.

– Law on the liability of civil servants.

– Law on lobbying.

5. Economic justice and protection of citizens and businesses.

– We will insist on the transfer of the tax burden from businesses and citizens to the banking sector, which reports excess profits on the backs of businesses and citizens.

– We will be firmly against the increase in taxes for citizens and businesses.

“Shine” will be a movement of responsibility, courage and clearly set goals. The cup is over and we will no longer pray to anyone. We will make it so that we change, not wait for change that never comes. Not for power. And for life. For justice.
