Slovan Bratislava Launches Dedicated Streaming Platform Slovan TV
On third-party platforms such as YouTube, football clubs do not have full control over their own content,
stated Tivio Studio CEO Karel Švára in a press release published by Športky.sk.
Slovak football club ŠK Slovan Bratislava is launching its own streaming platform, Slovan TV, to broadcast live matches, match replays, and exclusive video content, according to reports from Športky.sk and TERAZ.sk. The club aims to secure total control over its digital media distribution by moving away from third-party sites.
Youth UEFA Champions League Debut in Senec
The platform officially debuts on Wednesday, October 14, at 14:00 local time, with a live broadcast of the UEFA Youth League fixture between Slovan Bratislava and German club VfB Stuttgart, hosted in Senec. Športky.sk and TERAZ.sk both confirmed the opening match details.
Operating on external video platforms like YouTube creates distinct operational hurdles for football clubs. UEFA regulations explicitly prohibit streaming junior UEFA Youth League matches on standard public video-sharing sites, according to the press release issued by Tivio Studio.

Complete Control Over Distribution and Pricing
By building an independent digital ecosystem, Slovan Bratislava bypasses external broadcast restrictions. The club retains absolute authority over scheduling, audience access, and subscription or pay-per-view pricing structures.
Tivio Studio manages the technical infrastructure and overall administration for the new service. The club’s own platform removes these restrictions and the club decides what to broadcast, who will see it, and at what price.
Švára explained in the announcement carried by both Športky.sk and TERAZ.sk.
