DSCVOLLEYs secure Convincing Win Against Erfurt

Dresden, December 20, 2025 – Just two days after a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Suhl, the DSCVOLLEYs brilliantly completed their second task in the “Thuringia Double.” Despite the heavy workload, coach Alexander Waibl’s team didn’t falter in their final home game of the year, defeating Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt 3-0 (25:20, 25:11, 25:16) in front of 2902 keen fans at the Margon Arena. This keeps the German runners-up undefeated at home in the league adn secures three crucial points in the battle for a strong playoff position.

The team, led by captain Patricia Nestler, has certainly earned a well-deserved Christmas break. They even kicked off the festivities with a joyful singalong right in the hall after the match.
