STANFORD, Calif. – No. 2 Stanford women’s swimming & diving is set to compete at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, concluding the 2025-26 campaign at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 18-21. The championships will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Cardinal Dynasty

Stanford boasts a remarkable history in collegiate swimming and diving, having secured 13 national championships – 12 NCAA titles and an AIWA crown in 1980 – the most of any program nationwide. The Cardinal has consistently finished within the top 10 at every national championship meet since the 1974-1975 season, a streak unmatched by any other Division I program.

Lindauer’s Debut Season

This year’s NCAA Championships mark the first under Knowles Family Director of Women’s Swimming Chris Lindauer, who aims to develop into the first Stanford coach to win an NCAA title in their inaugural season since Peter Tegen achieved the feat with women’s cross country in 2005.

Experienced Roster

Stanford will bring a seasoned team to Atlanta, comprised of athletes with a combined total of five NCAA titles and 68 All-America honors. Last season, Lucy Bell, Caroline Bricker, and Torri Huske each claimed NCAA individual gold medals, while Bricker and Kayla Wilson, alongside alums Lillie Nordmann and Aurora Roghair, won the 800-yard freestyle relay title.

Qualifying Divers Shine

Three Cardinal divers earned automatic bids to the NCAA Championships following impressive performances at the Diving Zone E meet. Molly Gray excelled in both her events, winning the 3-meter dive after finishing as runner-up in the 1-meter dive. Ellie Cole dominated the platform dive, while Emilie Moore qualified for her third national meet, finishing fifth in both the 3-meter and platform dives.
