Styrian Sounds 2026: A Showcase of Austrian Pop and Indie Talent
Graz, Austria, is set to host the Styrian Sounds festival in April 2026, celebrating the region’s vibrant pop culture scene. The festival lineup features a diverse range of artists, from established names to rising stars, with album release shows and special performances planned throughout the event.
Featured Artists
Bibiza
Austrian artist Bibiza will produce a return to Styrian Sounds after his debut in 2023. Described as an “Austro Casanova,” Bibiza has quickly gained popularity, performing at stadiums across the country. His performance is part of the festival’s “Focus: Cute Artist” theme.
Jo The Man The Music
Graz native Johanna Gußmagg, known as Jo The Man The Music, will be releasing her debut album, “Soft Skin,” at the festival. Yukno
The Styrian electro-pop duo Yukno will perform songs from their latest album, “Gute Nachtmusik,” which has been praised as a “masterpiece” blending euphoric and melancholic sounds.
The Base
The Base will celebrate 30 years since the release of their debut album, “Jet Crash Kills,” with a retrospective performance. This event is expected to be a highlight of the festival’s opening day.
Laurens Nikolaus
Indie trio Laurens Nikolaus will make their Graz debut at Styrian Sounds, showcasing their hit song “Du bist wie” and contributing to the “Focus: Cute Artist” theme.
Christian Fetish
Christian Fuchs, a veteran creative from Styria, will present his fresh project, CHRISTIAN FETISH, with an album release show featuring elements of industrial rock.
Additional Performances
The festival will also feature performances by Mary Pommer, Conan City Hardcore (with readings from HC Roth and Chris Magerl), Once Tasted Life, Baits, Love God Chaos, Deliver em Blood and others.
Album Release Shows
In addition to the featured artists, Styrian Sounds 2026 will host album release shows for Magdalena Wawra, Cousins, Dog Head King, Junes Ivy, and Give Em Blood.
